Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynal Abidin Oğuz is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in mechanical engineering and composite materials. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gaziantep University in 2013, followed by a master’s degree in 2016 with a thesis on the effects of sewage sludge ash on the mechanical properties of composites. In 2021, he completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Gaziantep University, focusing on hydrothermal aging effects on hybrid composites. His academic career includes roles as Assistant Professor and later Associate Professor at Adıyaman UnComposite Materials Scienceiversity, where he currently serves in the Department of Electronics and Automation, Mechatronics Program. In addition, he has held administrative responsibilities, including Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Adıyaman University. His research primarily investigates hydrothermal and UV aging impacts on the mechanical performance of fiber-reinforced and nanoparticle-reinforced composites, with numerous articles published in leading international journals such as Polymer Composites, Journal of Composite Materials, Marine Structures, and Physica Scripta. Beyond academia, he gained professional engineering experience at the State Hydraulic Works (DSİ) in Bingöl and Adıyaman, overseeing dam, pond, and pumping station projects.
