Dr. Xiang Chen currently serves as an Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Petroleum Engineering, Southwest Petroleum University. Dr. Xiang Chen obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Offshore Petroleum Engineering from Southwest Petroleum University in June 2018. Recognized for his academic excellence, he was directly admitted to a Ph.D. in Petroleum Development Engineering, bypassing the master’s degree. During his Ph.D. studies, he became a visiting scholar at the University of Calgary, Canada (March 2022 – March 2023) under the Chinese Government Funded Program. He successfully earned his doctoral degree in June 2023.
